Buyers Remorse (or the horse that got away)
I have been cleaning up my office this morning and came across a page I had torn out of a magazine years ago. It dates from 2007 when I was considering which horse to buy.
I didn’t buy any of these horses but it is interesting to now reflect upon what was for sale then and how they performed now that it is their futurity year. With only one futurity down and three to go they all still have an exceptional chance of earning money.
So lets examine what the owners had as information when making their purchase.
The advertisement took a whole page in the Chatta’ and was placed by Morning Sun Ranch. There were six horses for sale of which four were entered into this years Futurity. Below was the description placed next to each horse and the price advertised.
Dual N Cat

Should Have, Could Have, Would Have
Three years on and the horses that have gone on have scored modestly at this years Futurity. All appear capable and through knowing the background story of where they came it may now just add some interest towards their progress at the remaining futurities in 2010.
I brought a different horse, but that is another story.
