2011 Landmark Campdraft Sale

The 2011 Landmark Campdraft Sale has just finished down in Tamworth.  Like you I have been googling and checking Facebook constantly to get any news I can.  From looking at the search results on our website plenty of you are also doing the same thing.

If I had a dollar for every time I, or anyone else, searched for some information on the sale I would have been able to beat the top price over the weekend.

When I get the Sale Results I will link them here.  For now, let me tell you some unofficial results that are available online.

Krystals Pep – $23 000

Catwomen – $37 5000

Smartys High Card – $40 000

Dual Rey Colt – $40 000

Yulgilbar Wild Cat – $45 000

If you have any other sale results please email me at ainslie@iinet.net.au

It is hard to understand that this day and age of modern technology that the Australian rural industries are so far behind the times. As with the American horse sales you can watch them live and the prices are up load every couple of minutes. Ainslie keep up the good work with keeping us up-to-date with what is going on in the industry.

    Hi Peter,

Al and I certainly agree with you Peter. If I was down at Tamworth I would have put the results up after each lot just like I did last year at the Futurity Sales.

And I can tell from the website statistics that people are looking for the information. We have had our best couple of days of visitors, and yet I have very little to offer.

I have contacted Landmark and have had no reply , and I am now contacting individual vendors to see if they could give me some prices.

As soon as they are somewhere on the internet I will link to them.

    Cheers

    Ainslie

  3. Hi Ainslie & Peter, We would have liked to post some more results than what we did but unfortunately were hand breaked with a baby and heat this year. We did, however, offer our services to webcast this event and from the stats in a few days from the clips we took from ring side it could have been enormous. We too are having a lot of inquiry for results and have not had a reply from our email. Stay in touch. Cheers Caroline from Cowhorse

    Hi Caroline,

A webcast would have been great for everyone. Pity they didn’t take you up on it.

Al spoke with Landmark and they said the scores will be available by the end of the week.

    Can’t wait to see them

    Caroline & Ainslie,

Landmark could really turn this sale into something (example:-like the fortworth Futurity sale). However, by the sounds of it closed minded people are keeping this sale from progressing into the modern age. It is great to see that the webcast was offered and it is really sad that it was not taken up on. Thanks for efforts to keep the industry up-to-date. One idea, what about combining the NCHA finals with the landmark sale/campdraft???????

    Cheers
    Peter
